摘要
湖南省探明高岭土１．３６亿吨。分布在长沙—汨罗—岳阳、醴陵、耒阳—常宁、衡山、怀化—溆浦等５个区内。主要为花岗岩风化残积型，次要为长石石英风化残积型，亦有沉积型。经工业应用试验，可作陶瓷原料、橡胶填料、造纸涂料等。
Kaoloin reserve proven in Hunan reaches to 136 million tons.This resource distributes in five areas,that is,Changsha-Milo-Yueyang,Liling,Leiyang-Changning,Hengshan and Huaihua-Xupu.Most of kaolin deposits mainly belong to eluvial deposits of weathered granites,the next,weathered arkoses and there are also sedimentary ones.According to the industrial test kaolin resource can be used as a raw material of ceramics,the packing material in rubber and as coating in papermaking.
