摘要
钱大昕考史之“学”浩博,纵的方面学逾三代,通贯古今;横的方面还把精通官制、舆地、氏族谱牒、方志、宝石、避讳之学等作为基本的知识储备,使它们都成了善事(指考史)之利器。故而其对全部中国古代史的考据氏能做到覆盖宽广, 放眼高远,贯串通透,结论精详,贡献也最大。
Qian Daxin's method of studying history is very comprehensive, from ancient to modern times with related topics of various kinds. which all contributed to the study of historical events. Therefore he carried out an extensive and profound study and did the greatest contribution.
