Through the analyses of the poems about carts and horses in The Book of Songs,it can be inferred that there were a variety of vehicles in Zbou dynasty. Carts and houses had become a symbol of the prestige of the different states and their nobles. The manufacturing technology of carts had represented the whole standard of the manufacturing industry in Zhou dynasty. And the widespread application of carts and horses had promoted the coming into being of the whole road nets of Zhou dynasty.
