摘要
本文评述了近年来新疆地区第四纪环境没变研究在晚更新世晚期以来内陆西风型环境演变模式及本次冰盛期以来山地冰川进退序列的建立、晚冰期气候突变事件及小冰湖环境待征和西域砾岩下限磁性地层学年代的获得及第四纪沉积年代学进展等方面的进展.同时还指出了目前仍存在的一些问题和不足,并对此地区第四纪研究的未来进行了展望.
The recent research in Quaternary environmental changes has made some great progresses in Xinjiang, which can be concluded as follows: (1) The establishment of westerly pattern of environmental change,which is mainly dominated by the disposal of alternations of warm-dry and cold-humid climate. This kind of pattern is widely reflected by the inland inke surface fluctuahon, sPore-pollen, and index of chemical elements; (2) Acquirement of the information of cnvironmental Changes during the last degladahon, especially the obtained information of late dry events is of great signilicance to study the sudden climatic changes in arid area; (3) The estab1ishment of the complete sequence of glaciers nuctuations, 5 prominent glacier developing periods are identifled, i.e. 8 ~ 9 ka, 5.7~ 5.0 ka,4.0 ka, 3.0 ~ 2.8 ka and 0.45~0.03 ka BP; (5) The progress in researches of climatic changes of Little Ice Age. Several cold periods are aIso identifled and the lower boundary of Xiyu conglomerate is fostly put forward, although the age is still uncertained and waiting for the future probing.The researches of the Quaternary environmental changes in Xinjiang are still backward, although so many progresses are obtained in recent years. Some Anportant Quatemary problems are still unsolved. To further understand the process and features of the Quaternary environmental changes is beneficial to tbe sustainable development of Xinjiang.
