摘要
本文主要评述了古地理图计算机辅助成图的技术特色.这种方法把古地理图的绘制带到了半定量化的水平.各种区域性古地理要素的位势和变化可以通过大量地质数据的内插计算而予以确定.对已有的各种古地理图都可以统一编录在全球古板块图上进行比较分析,提取有价值的信息,并运用古生物地理、构造地理、古气候和盆地分析等方面的实际资料验证。全球古板块图则通过计算板块边缘各点移动的距离和旋转的角度而绘制,已经过反复推敲。笔者拟采用此方法试制成套的华南二叠纪古地形图,以说明其运作过程。
This paper gives a general review on the reconstruction of palaeogeographic continents with the aid of the computer-aid graphic method.This method may allow for the semi- quantitative retrodiction by means of the synthesis of data sets that provide valuable infor- mation about the'absolute'latitudinal positon of plates,in combination with the data on palaeobiogeography,tectonic geography,palaeoclimates and basin analysis.Taking the advantage of the technology,the author attempts to plot a series of the Permian palaeo- geographic maps of South China,and a Late Permian topographic map of South China may serve as a good example for the explanation of the process described in this parper.
