The Theme of Indignation in Huang Zhongze's Poetry

清代诗人黄仲则一身漂泊无依,生活困顿,但他依然保有对自身价值的强烈肯定,充满着天生我才必有用的强烈自信。反映在诗歌当中,一方面是寒士的嗟贫叹卑,一方面是名士的高迈健举,二者颇具张力且相互映发,共同构成了黄仲则感愤诗歌的主题取向。

Huang Zhongze, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, was wandering in poverty all his llfe. But he was sure of his value. He was quite confident about his ability. So in his poetry he sighed about his poverty and fate on one hand, and expressed his ambition on the other hand. The extension between the two sides helped to form the theme of indignation in his poetry.
