In this paper, the work principle of Power Factor Correction Circuit is discussed, which is adopted fixed frequency but unfixed duty ratio of time control mode. The character and interior circuit of NCP1650 Integrated CMOS chip are introduced, and the use of NCP1650 in Power Factor Correction （PFC） is mainly discussed. The circuit and the design method of the APFC are given.
