在我国,“三农”问题比较严重,因此提出和实施统筹城乡发展的战略具有重大的意义。湖州市为了全面贯彻中央精神,根据自身特点,推进两项战略举措,统筹城乡发展,推进城乡一体化。

In China, there exist a serious problem about peasants, rural areas and agrtculture. So it is of strategic significance to put the strategy of balancing urban - rural development into practice.
