This paper points out that the innovation is the obvious character of the development of today＇s age, analyzes on the causes why the essence of the management of modern library is the innovation, discusses on the requirements for library＇s leaders being as the main body of library＇s managerial innovation, and puts forward some problems needing attention in library＇s managerial innovation.
