This paper analyzes on the present situation of the development and utilization of the garden tree species resources in Datong City, and puts forward some measures for developing and utilizing the garden tree species resources such as utilizing the existing resources, introducing the acclimated suitable tree species with higher ornamental value, and developing and utilizing the wild resources, etc.
