The Transition of the Mode of Provide for the Aged in Chinese Rural Area

农村家庭养老模式在我国农村具有悠久的传统,但由于经济发展、人口老龄化以及家庭结构变化等因素,使传统的家庭养老模式面临困境。而国际上通行的社会化养老在我国尚不具备普遍实行的条件。因此,应根据各地经济发展水平的不同采取自我养老、家庭养老和社会养老相结合的多层次、多样化的养老模式,顺利实现农村养老模式的转型。

The traditional way of home provide for the aged which has a long history in Chinese rural area is facing great difficulties because of the development of economy, population ongoing old and the transformation of home structure. But on the other hand the social provide for the aged didn＇t has the condition to carry out widely. To suit the situation, we should combine the provide for the aged in household, provide for the aged by themselves with social provide for the old and form a multi-level and diversified mode for provide for the aged. Only by this way could we realize the smooth transition of the mode of provide for the aged in rural area in our country.
