Harmony Between Human Beings and Nature Brings about Beautiful Environment——The Research on the Eco-City Theory in Guanzi

早在二千七百年前,《管子》一书就提出了“天人合一”的生态命题和“人与天调,然后天地之美生”的生态城市思想,强调“无违自然”,提倡通过自然现象来规范城市社会的有序发展,突出城市发展与生态环境的整体性,管子的这些思想对我国现今认识和研究城市生态环境问题,促进城市的可持续发展与生态系统的良性循环等仍具有重大的指导意义。

As early as two thousand and seven hundred years ago,the book Guanzi already stated the proposition that human beings should harmonize with nature and the aco-city theory that if human beings harmonize with nature,the environment will become beautiful.This theory stresses obedience to nature and advocates using the natural phenomenon to standardize the orderty devetopment of cities.it emphasizes integrity of city development and environment.And it is significant to the understanding and research on the city environment issue in our country,and also the sustainable development of cities and virtuous circle of the ecosystem.
