针对高校公共艺术教育存在的问题,强调重新认识公共艺术教育在现代高校教育中的特殊作用、任务及现代社会对人才素质相应的需求趋势,进一步加强高校公共艺术教育工作对于促进高校精神文明建设、加强思想政治工作和培养全面发展的合格的跨世纪人才,都具有重要的现实意义。

This paper, in view of the existing problems of public arts education in universities and colleges, gives the importance to re-realize the special function and task of public arts education in nowadays higher education and the demand trend of modern society for personnel quality. Through discussing public arts and aesthetics education, well--developed man, and the effect of public arts education upon man＇s all-- round development, the paper points out that further strengthening the public arts education in universities and colleges has a great importance in promoting spiritual civilization of universities and colleges, strengthening ideological education, and cultivating all-round developed personnel. The paper also discusses some forms, suggestions and measures to develop public arts education in universities and colleges.
