汉派文化属于特定的大都市文化,是武汉的精神和灵魂,是武汉区别于其它大城市之特质。汉派文化是一种包容性、融合性、更新性极强的文化,上世纪前半叶曾与京派文化、海派文化形成三足鼎立之势;新时期以来汉派文化虽仍具鼎立之实力,但影响力不够彰显。振兴汉派文化,战略思考必不可少。

Wuhan-style culture falls into that of the specific metropolises. It is the spirit and soul of Wuhan as well as a speciality that distinguishes Wuhan from other big cities. Wuhan-style culture has an extramely high degree of inclusiveness, mergence and renewal. During the first half of the last century, it form a trilogy with those of the shanghai and the Beijing styles. Since the new perod it has still had the actual strength of being one of the trilogy, but its influence is not marked enough. To vitalize Wuhanstyle culture, strategic consideration is indispensable.
