摘要
现代终身教育,已发展成为世界性的教育思潮,我们今天,在构建本国终身教育体系的过程中,一方面,需要吸收西方社会现代终身教育理念的科学成分;另一方面,更应回顾本国的教育历史,发掘我国终身教育理念的本土资源。产生于我国20世纪20、30年代的民众教育只是建立在教育终身化,教育全民化,教育机会均等的理念基础之上。同时,它在教育目标、教育阶段、教育形态、教育对象以及整个教育系统结构等方面均显现出鲜明的终身教育特性。因此,对于民众教育的进一步探讨和研究将有利于我们建立系统完整,发展均衡的现代终身教育体系。
At present, the idea of lifelong education has spread to the whole world. For the construction of the lifelong education systems it is required to extract the essence from the related western theories. However, it is more necessary to learn from the Chinese history of education which helps to make full use of the domestic resources. In retrospect, education among common people in China which originated in 1920s-1930s came into being on basis of the theories of lifelong education, popularization of education and equality in education and kept the typical features of lifelong education in the goals, stages, patterns, objects and even the whole structure of education. Thus, further study is demande to help the construction of integrated lifelong education systems and balanced its development.
