摘要
通过对部分英语新闻语篇所使用的衔接手段进行的对比分析,论证了英汉新闻语篇均运用相同类型的衔接手段以达到衔接与连贯的目的;而由于语篇写作特点的限制,英汉新闻语篇在衔接手段的运用上有着不同于其他类型语篇的特点;同时,英语新闻语篇与汉语新闻语篇在不同衔接手段的使用频率上存在着差异。
By comparing some English and Chinese news, this paper demonstrates that both English news and Chinese News use the same techniques for discourse cohesion to attain the cohesion and coherence of the discourses. Owing to the limits of discourse writing features, the applications of the cohesion techniques in English and Chinese news have different features from other types of discourses. And English and Chinese news are different from each other in the frequency of using cohesion techniques.
