摘要 提出一种适于医学图像感兴趣区域编码交错位平面提升法,实现了ROI和BG相对质量可调,且不需传输掩模信息。对提升后的位平面,提出了基于ROI掩模估计的改进SPIHT算法。实验结果表明,相比SPIHT算法,改进算法具有更高的编码效率。 A new ROI coding technique for medical image is introduced. By implementing the interlace upshift of binary coefficients, the compression quality of ROI and BG becomes adjustable, which can be used for the coding of arbitrary shaped ROI. According to the characteristics of the bitplane after interlaced upshift, a more efficient embedded coding algorithm based on SPIHT is presented. Moreover, theoretical analysis and simulated experiments all indicate that the proposed method is better than classical SPIHT algorithm.
