Folk arts in Central Plains is an important part of China＇ s folk arts and China＇s traditional culture. The art design grows vigorously in Henan, and it needs to find suitable envionment for basement. This article shows the relations between art design and folk arts by contrasting and analysing their similarities and differences. It is necessary for their close combine of art design and folk arts, so as to put forward the culture and develop the economy of Central Plains.
