摘要
尤金.奥尼尔在《琼斯皇》一剧中打破时空观念或扭曲现实来外化人物的内心世界。本文从色、声、光、景和幻觉幻象等几方面,分析和论述奥尼尔在此剧中运用的表现主义手法,及其对于揭示琼斯内心的矛盾冲突、心灵的扭曲变态和从出逃到最后死亡的心路历程的作用。
Eugene O＇ Neill breaks the concepts of space and time, or abnormalizes the reality to externalize the character＇s inner soul. This thesis, based on colors, sound, light, scenes, hallucination and phantoms, analyses O＇ Neill＇s expressionist techniques in Emperor Jones to reveal Jones＇s innermost contradictions, his abnormal psychology, and his escape-to-death psychological process.
