New Trend of Motivation Research:Self-determinism

摘要 作为一种新的动机理论,自我决定理论强调人类行为的自我决定程度,将动机按自我决定程度的高低视作一个连续体。其基础是有机辩证元理论,认为社会环境可以通过支持自主、胜任、关系三种基本心理需要的满足来增强人类的内部动机、促进外部动机的内化、保证人类健康成长。自我决定理论虽然具有一定的局限性,但它体现了动机研究的趋向,为众多的动机理论的整合提供了基础。 As a new motivation theory, self-determinism focuses on the degree to which human behavior is self-determined and regards motivation as a continuum of self-determination. Based on organic dialectical meta-theory, self-determinism supposes that social circumstances, by meeting one's psychological needs of competence, autonomy and relatedness, can enhance internal motivation, facilitate the internalization of external motivation and ensure the healthy growth of human beings. Although self-determinism has some limitations, it represents the new trend of motivation research and provides a basis for integrating a range of motivation theories.
