王阳明与日本关系新考

A Study on the Relations between Wang Yang-ming and Japan

关于王阳明本人与日本人的交识及阳明著作中涉及日本人或事件之文献考辨的问题,长期以来因缺乏第一手资料而未能作细致梳理。文章认为,王阳明一生共与日本人有过三次接触,时间皆发生在日本第八次至第九次对明勘合贸易期间;所识日人中间,既有法容学识皆一流的禅僧了庵桂悟,也有自小归化日本后又挑起“彝夏之衅”的“恶少”宋素卿。三次接触,使王阳明对日本有了大概的了解,但阳明学传入日本则是在阳明去世以后很久。

Due to the lack of the first-hand materials, the relationship between Wang Yangming and Japan and the events related to Japanese people in Wang＇s works have not been studied closely. The paper believes that the three contact Wang made with Japanese all occurred between the eighth and ninth trading periods between the Ming Dynasty and Japan. The three contacts made Wang Yangming learn about Japan, and it was many years after Wang＇s pass-away that Wang＇s learning and theories found the way to Japan.
