Experimental Studies on Estrogenoid Effect of Nujin Pill

女金丹能使未成熟雌性小白鼠和去卵巢雌性大鼠子宫增重，使去卵巢雌性大鼠阴道上皮细胞发生角化，使之出现动情期的改变，提示女金丹具有雌性激素样作用。

Nijjin Pill was found to increase uterine weight in immature mice and ovary-ectomized rats,and hornify vaginal epithelial cells in ovary-ectomized rats,indicating occurence of estruation. The results suggested that the preparation ap-peared to have an estrogenoid effect.
