消除荫罩式等离子体显示器动态伪轮廓方法的研究

摘要 由于目前荫罩式等离子体显示器采用ADS驱动时序,产生较明显的动态伪轮廓现象,影响图像的显示质量。本文通过分析动态伪轮廓产生原因,提出了一套通过子场发光积累取代子场发光组合来实现灰度的驱动时序方法。从仿真结果来看,该方法可以消除荫罩式等离子体显示器的动态伪轮廓现象。采用多帧图像的叠加显示和误差扩散方法,很好地解决图像灰度级不足的问题,从而提高荫罩式等离子体显示器的图像质量。 The dynamic false contour (DFC) effect damages the PDP display performance seriously due to the wide use of ADS driving scheme. A novel driving scheme suitable for plasma display panel with shadow mask (SMPDP) has been presented after the analysis on the generation of DFC. It realizes the multi-gray-level display by the accumulation of sub-field instead of the combination of sub-field. The simulation indicates that this scheme reduces the DFC in SMPDP dramatically. To solve the problem of the poor gray level of SMPDP, the multi-frame combination and error diffusion methods are used. The image quality is improved greatly.
