The subbottom profiler is a widely used marine surveying instrument. In this paper, the new advances in subbottom profiler technique are introduced, and the structure and technical specfications of low voltage C-Boom are especially described. It is shown from the service results of the instrument that the instrument can fully meet the requirements of marine engineering and research work, and has its own unique technical characteristics and usage advantages.
