印尼苏门答腊两次巨震对未来1年全球7级以上地震活动格局变化的影响

The influence on the global seismicity with M_S≥7 in the coming years by two strong earthquakes happened in Sumatra

通过对印尼苏门答腊岛及其附近1900年以来7.5级以上地震发生后一年内全球7级以上地震强度和分布特征分析,发现此年活动水平一般高于1900年以来的年平均水平,且地震主要发生在太平洋地震带的西段,同时分析了该区域强震对中国大陆及周边地区7级以上地震活动的影响。

According to the characteristic analysis of the global earthquake distribution one year after the strong earthquake with Ms≥7.5 happened around Sumatra since 1900, we find that the global seismicity level with Ms≥7 in general was higher than the annual average level since 1900 and the earthquakes mostly took place in the west part of the pacific seismic belt. We also analyze the strong earthquake＇s influence in this region on the earthquakes with Ms≥7 in Chinese mainland and its periphery. The forecast for the global and national seismicity in the future will benefit from these conclusions in some degree.
