颅骨卵圆孔测量值与X线片测量值之相关分析

ANALYSES OF CORRELATION BETWEEN THE MEASURED VALUES OF THE FORAMEN OVALE OF DRY SKULLS AND THOSE OF THE ROENTGENOGRA- PHIC FILMS OF CORRESPONDING SPECIMENS

本文以99具在上海近郊出土的干颅骨,研究颅骨卵圆孔和相应之颅骨的颅底X线片卵圆孔测定值之间的相关关系。测定项目包括:卵圆孔的长径和宽径、卵圆孔长径与经腭中缝矢状平面之夹角、卵圆孔至棘孔的距离、卵圆孔至矢状平面的距离和棘孔至矢状平面的距离。结果发现:左、右两侧颅骨及相应之颅底x线片的上述各项测定值之间存在显著相关关系(P<0.01);但是左、右两侧卵圆孔的大小和位置的对称性测定。颅骨与相应之x线片的结果不符合。由此可见:颅骨卵圆孔的大小和位置可以用直线回归方程式计算而得,但是颅骨卵圆孔左、右两侧之对称性,却不能从颅底x线片进行判断。

Analyses of correlations between the measured values of the foramen ovale of dry skulls and those of roentgenographic skull base films of the corresponding specimens were carried out in 99 male adult skulls collected from the vicinity of Shanghai. The items in our studies included the length and width of the foramen ovale, the angle between the longitudinal diameter and the sagittal plane running through the intermaxillary suture, the distance from the foramen ovale to the foramen spinosum and that to the sagittal plane, and the distance from the foramen spinosum to the sagittal plane.Significant correlations(P<0.01)were found between all the measured values of the. above mentioned items of dry skulls on both sides and those of the roentgenographic skull base films of the corresponding specimens. The results of the measurments of the symmetry for sizes of foramen ovales on the right and left sides were different in dry skull with that of the corresponding X-ray films. It is suggested then that the real size and position of the foramen ovale of the skull could be correctly calculated with linear regression equation, but the symmetry of the foramen ovale of the skull could not be evaluated from the X-ray film of the base of skull
