This paper briefly expounds the present situations of the periodical resources of the libraries of the maritime universities, analyzes on the causes of the missing of the periodicals, and in the light of the features of the periodical work of the libraries of the maritime universities, puts forward some principles and methods for the periodical vacancy fill work.
