The discussion starts with the fundamental knowledge of digital techniques. Relationship between main digital techniques including sampling frequency, quantization precision, system synchronization, etc. and main analog audio frequency indices including frequency response, signal-to-noise ratio, dynamic range, degree of distortion, etc. were analyzed briefly. Approaches of improving television sound quality were proposed after analyzing the stages of making, saving and broadcasting television sound.
