As a tial character is subject originated from the West, social work is based on capitalist humanitarianism, and its essenregarded as reformism. We know that there is a gap between Marxist humanitarianism and capitalist humanitarianism. Scientific development view was put forward in the Third Plenary Session of the 16th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Its point of departure is human beings. The mission of social work is to pursue social justice and all - round development of human beings. This article is trying to probe into the effect of scientific development view on social work.
