A study of Sikong Tu's life in his old age

政局的动荡,仕途的险恶,使诗人从理想跌回现实。晚年司空图放弃了仕途,回到家乡王官谷,过着归隐田园的生活,保全了名节。考证这段时间司空图的生活,对研究诗人的思想具有重要意义。

The political situation was turbulent in the late Tang Dynasty.The unstable political situation made Sikong Tu the poet have a clearer realization of the society.In his old age,he retried from Chang'an and led a leisured life in his hometown.However,he never gave up his ideas.This thesis collects abundant historical material in order to do a textual research on this experience of Sikong Tu.
