语言能力——大学生英语写作的瓶颈

On language competence as the obstacle of college English compostion

现在大学生的英语写作水平较低的现状迫使大学英语教师既要找寻其中原因,又要寻找解决问题的办法。英语写作教学的“粗放式经营”方式忽视基本功的训练,从而导致大学英语写作的语言水平不高,学生的语言能力提高得不明显。本文试从分析现状入手,从教师的英语写作教学方法、英语作文评析、引导学生确立正确的英语写作态度、激发英语写作动机等各个方面帮助学生提高语言能力、从而提高学生的英语写作水平。

The current situation in which students are poor in English composition urges teachers of college English not only to analyze the causes for the problem but to find its solutions. The lack of basis training in the “extensive teaching method” in writing course often results in the lower level of English language competence in composition. Based on the analysis of current situation, this article attempts to improve students＇ language competence in the perspectives of adopting suitable methods in teaching writing, in assessing students＇ writings, in cultivating a correct writing attitude as well as motivation in students.
