自《红楼梦》问世以来,人们一直为两个女主人公薛宝钗和林黛玉孰优孰劣的问题争论不休。但也有人认为薛宝钗和林黛玉都是作者曹雪芹所肯定的正面人物,这就是所谓的“钗黛合一”论。对“钗黛合一”论作一历史的回顾与分析,并由此讨论文学人物评价的标准问题是有意义的。
