土家族民族传统文化中蕴含着丰富的生态思想和独特的生态观。本文主要从神话传说、图腾崇拜、生产、居住、禁忌和丧葬方面,探析土家族传统文化中蕴含的生态意识。从中看出,土家族的许多文化行为对生态环境起着顺应和保护作用。

There is a variety of ecological thought and ecological views contained in the traditional culture of Tujia people. This article probes into ecological consiousness of Tujia people from religious myth, methods of cultivation,worshiped tree and funeral ritual. It can be seen that different cultural actions take effect on conforming to and protecting ecological environment.
