摘要
语言和文化不可分,而成语是语言的精华。民族文化的不同制约着成语的产生及意义的不同。本文试图从历史、自然环境、民俗、民族心理、宗教哲学等角度对一些英汉成语的归类分析来探索其文化功能。
This paper presents a brief study of the cultural differences between English idioms and Chinese idioms from the perspective of historical background, natural conditions, customs, psychology, philosophy and literature.
