Listening is the base of English learning. The article attempts to approach the listening teaching from a comparatively new perspective: reading-aloud training. An experiment is designed to find out the rehtionship between one's pronunciation and his/her listening ability, and whether the reading-aloud training makes a positive effect on listening. The findings are encouraging and valuable to the practice of listening teaching.
