With the concrete practice of criminal investigation, we can observe and study the importance of Materialist Dialectics which plays a guidance role in the criminal investigation from the following three respects： the distinguishing feature of on-the-spot investigation, the contradictions met on- the- spot investigation, and the analyses of cases on- the- spot investigation.
