两岸以人民币和新台币进行计价结算初探

A quest for settlement based on RMB and TWD across the Straits

目前两岸只能以人民币和新台币以外的第三种可兑换货币进行两岸通汇,客观上增加了两岸经贸交往的不便和结算成本,并助长了两岸"地下通汇"行为。在当前两岸交往日益密切的大背景下,文章提出两岸可试行以人民币和新台币进行计价结算,以解决上述问题并实现两岸金融合作的新突破。

At present, currency exchange across the Straits can only be done via currencies other than RMB and TWD. resulting in increased settlement cost and inconvenience in economic exchange and trade across the Straits and precipitating black market currency exchanges. Against the backdrop of ever closer contacts across the Straits, this article proposes the piloting of settlement based on RMB and TWD. in a bid to achieve breakthroughs in financial cooperation across the Straits.
