Law Clinic Education: Analysis of Its Value and the Practice of Its Localization

法律诊所教育作为一种实践性教育,体现了以人为本的现代化教育理念,它在中国高校的实践,对于中国法学教育的改革和完善是一个极其重要的举措。我国在借鉴法律诊所教育模式,追求法学教育现代化的同时,还应注重考虑其本土化的问题,将教育观念的更新与教育模式的创新同时进行,通过正确处理诊所教育与传统法学教育的关系,并建立一套行之有效的评价体系,来实现外来模式与本土模式的有机契合。

As a kind of practical education, law clinic education embodies the modem idea of people-oriented education. This practice in colleges and universities of China is a critically important method to reform and improve the law education in China. While adopting this teaching mode, we should take the issue of its localization into consideration. The innovation of educational idea and teaching mode should be conducted simultaneously. By appropriately dealing with the relationship between law clinic education and the traditional law education, we can establish an efficient assessment system, so as to realize a perfect combination between the alien mode and the local mode.
