几年前，当我在伦敦研究中国艺术时，发现难以查找到国内的当代艺术信息，这种切身的体会成为2000年底创立亚洲艺术文献库的重要契机，迄今为止，这家机构虽然历经多次演变，

Asia Art Documents Storehouse is only a model of operation ,but the way it records and shows Asia comtemporary is also one of so many feasible plans ,Therefore,we attach importance to building relates guide and dweb for documents ,ensuring information availability and avoiding repetitive construction ,I don＇t think that Asia Art Documents Storehouse will be the “ultimate mode ”of other similar dovuments storehouse ,however ,the clise cooperation between the different documents storehouse is very important ,In spite of their different forms ,we can still join hands to builb a public place for sharing and exchanging knorledge.
