The angle gauge is one of the important tools used in the forest resource investigation. It is used widely in the forest resource investigation because the investigation method of the angle gauge is simple and with high efficiency. On the basis of the precisely proving about the principle of angle gauge, the errors about the design of pole type angle gauge were analyzed, and the revised method on the errors was provided.
