摘要
康熙是我国清代一位有作为的皇帝,他提倡农事,关心民生,虽然日理万机,还育成了一个名为御稻的水稻新品种,其突出特点是,早熟质佳,耐寒性强,适应性广。由于御稻的育成,促进了我国水稻的北移和江南双季稻的发展,对当时的水稻生产发挥了重要的作用,并产生了深远的影响,因而受到国内外的高度评价,是我国水稻育种史上的一座丰碑。
As an emperor in Qing dynasty, Kangxi advocated farming and paid attention to people＇s livelihood. Though he attended to numerous state affairs everyday, he even bred a new rice variety - Yu Rice. With the outstanding characteristics of early ripening, good quality, cold resistance and adaptability, emperor Rice promoted rice growing in northern region of China and double cropping of rice developing in the south of the Yangtze River, which suggested that it played a great role in rice production at that time and had far- reaching effects. As a result, it earned high remarks from at home and abroad, and it was a monument in the history of rice breeding.
