The Theory of Purchasing Power Parity and the Development of the Theory of Exchange Rate

购买力平价是汇率决定理论的基础。在研究购买力平价的基础上，研究汇率决定理论，以发展的观点和使用现代分析方法来探讨汇率理论的变革与各理论的侧重点，并通过适当的实证分析，说明各种汇率决定理论互为基础、互相补充。因此，在对不同时期，不同国家之间的汇率进行研究时，应综合运用各种汇率决定理论，以便全面系统地分析与预测汇率。

Purchasing Power Party (PPP) is the basis of exchange rate theory. On the basis of PPP the exchangerate was studied. From the point of view of development and using modern method, improvement and emphasis of the theory was studied . Analysis of positive examples proved that various exchange rate theories base on and compensate each other, so all of exchange rate theories should be applied integratively to study exchange rate among different countries in different period.
