The Present Situation of Thailand's Commercial Banks

After years of adjustment and reform, commercial banks of Thailand have restarted with new vital power andenergy. They have made a lot of progress in establishing modern commercial banking system, and especially in the introduction offoreign capital to restructure the financial institutes and to deal with the problems of NPL (Non Performance Loan) .Thai commercial banks have also made progress in adopting advanced modern banking management system. Now the Thai commercial bankshave already got out of the downturn caused by the Asian Financial Crisis to create a new glory.
