On the Broad-mindedness of Zhuangzi

庄子思想具有着一种开放性,它的“游心”是向外部世界的畅放和舒展;庄子寻求人与自然的对应,以内心的虚静达到与外在自然的融合;庄子寻求心灵的自由,处世态度是超然而不是逃避。

The thought of Zhuangzi is characterized by its openness. His spiritual freedom is the explicit revelation to the outside world. Zhuangzi sought for the harmony of human and nature in order to achieve the combination of the quietness inside and the outside world; zhuangzi pursued spiritual freedom. His attitude towards life is generosity but not escapism.
