《孟子》与思孟五行说

Analects of Mencius and Zisi-Mencius School's WuXing Thought

简帛《五行篇》的出土,给荀子在《非十二子》中批评子思、孟子的千古之谜提供了答案。荀子所谓的思孟五行应是仁义礼智圣,而不是如后人猜测的仁义礼智信或金木水火土。通过对《孟子》的解读,发现“五行”的具体所指及《五行篇》与子思、孟子学说的关系,就可以佐证上述观点。

The unearthed Wuxing of Jianbo gave the answer to the millennial puzzle which results from Xunzi＇s criticism on zisi and Mencius,what＇s called Zisi-Mencius School＇s Wuxing should be the mercy, justice, respect, intelligence and ethic instead of “the mercy, justice, respect, intelligence and honesty” or “gold,wood,water, fire, soil” guessed by the posterity. The above standpoints can be proved by the specific reference of “Wuxing：and the relations between Wuxing and Zisi-Mencius School＇s Wuxing Thought after interpreting Analcets of Mencius.
