摘要
通过对美国200年内河水运发展过程及其河流开发政策的研究,揭示了美国内河水运发展的特点和作用,并将我国的内河水运发展与美国进行了对比分析。指出了我国内河水运所面临的问题,提出了发展我国内河河运的思路与措施。
This paper makes a comparative analysis of inland water transportation （IWT） in U. S and China. After review of the development course of American inland water transportation （IWT） in last 200 years, the paper summarizes its modernization process, and policies on river development. According to the comparative analysis, the author thinks that China＇s IWT comes into a period of rapid development. The paper proposes recommendations to cope with the situation of insufficient energy and resources and accelerated urbanization and regional economy.
