Reference inquiry work is an important element in the service of libraries, which is regarded as a key link in the demonstration of information functions, the richest and the most active work in reader service. The service level symbolizes the whole level of the service work of a library, and an important indication of a modem library. The author expounds the enhancement of service level in the process of the promotion form a professional school to a university from the four angles, such as facilities, librarians, the construction of resources, and service scales.
