A Discussion of the Implementation of Thematic Instruction in College English Teaching and Learning

摘要本文在对大学英语教学中的现状和问题进行分析的基础上,介绍了主题教学的主要理念及其意义,讨论了大学英语教学依托教学网站或教学平台实施主题教学的可行方案。 Based on an analysis of the situations and issues of College English teaching and learning, this paper provides an introduction to the basic notions of and rationales for thematic instruction and its significance, and a discussion of the proper web-based learning environment and feasible schemes for the implementation of thematic instruction model in College English teaching and learning.
