An Analysis of the Content Validity on the"Vocabulary and Structure" of CET-4

大学英语四级考试是我国的一项大规模标准化考试,在设计上必须满足大规模标准化考试的质量要求。“词语用法和语法结构”部分进行内容效度统计分析的结果却显示:1.词汇与语法结构测试题的比例没有严格按照《考试大纲》的要求来命制;2.语法测试题数量偏少;3.词汇测试题出现考点重复的现象。

College English Test-Band Four （CET-4）,one of the large-scale standardized tests in China,must satisfy the requirement of qualification for large-scale standardized tests. The statistical analysis of the validity of “vocabulary and structure” shows that, first, the proportion of vocabulary and structure testing is not strictly devised according to the Syllabus; second, the number of structure testing is insufficient; third, some vocabulary contents are overlapped.
