晚清农民对待西方文化的态度探微

On Attitude of the Peasants of Late Period of Qing Dynasty towards the Western Culture

晚清时期农民对待外来文化的态度呈现出两极矛盾的状态:一方面接受利用,一方面又盲目排斥、毁灭。这既与农民自身价值观有关,也与当时中国半封建半殖民地的社会环境、阶级状况有关。深思这段历史,对今天我国改革开放形势下农民思想文化的建设不无借鉴作用。

The attitude of the peasants of late period of Qing Dynasty towards the Western culture presented two opposing extremes： for one thing, accepted and used, for another, excluded blindly and destroyed. It related to both values of the peasants themselves and the social environment and class condition of semi-feudal, semi-colonial of China at that time. Deep thought on this period history will play a reference role to the construction of the peasants＇ ideology and culture under the situation of Chinese reform and open today.
